The Numa Numa Guy

This is for those of you in my small group who have never seen the Numa Numa video. Which I can't believe! He has like over 17 MILLION views on youtube. Copy and paste the link and it will take you to youtube. I haven't figured out how to upload the video myself.

As for everyone else who is not in the small group, this all came about when we began a video series called Nooma. I immediately thought of the Numa Numa guy but no one else know what I was talking about. This is to enlighten them. :)
Have a great day!

We made it home!

Well we made it home from California... actually we've been home for almost 2 weeks now. Not a lot exciting things to update, but I thought you all would want to know that we made it back. One thing Robin and I realized as we were driving home was how GREEN west Texas is compared to the desert of Arizona and New Mexico. Ughhhh, I don't think I could ever live there.

Robin has returned to work and when I get spare time on my hands, look out! I'm cleaning out the garage and closets; if it's not bolted down, I'm throwing it out! Okay not really, but I'm brutal and like to get rid of "stuff". I've finished my cleaning so now I'm relaxing.

We're trying to decide where to go on our next trip, any thoughts? We like to always have a trip planned so we have something to look forward to. Almost like a countdown until we can relax a bit. We started the countdown for California at 80-something days.

Anyways, siginging off for now!

P.S. Do you see something different about Robin?

My cat likes to eat flowers

Exhibit A

Baylor Bear Reunion

Mary (my college roomie) and Bryan came down to visit us in Mission Beach. We had a great time hanging out and grilling on the BBQ. I don't care what you say, the neighbors tri-tip beef could not hold a flame to our hot dogs! It was great seeing Mary and Bryan! They're the reason Robin and I met, you know. :)

Roomies!

California Chronicles, part IV

Can you believe we are still finding things to do?!?!

A pretty cool house on 17 mile drive, it's curvy!

Stopping for pictures on the beautiful Pacific Coast Highway.

Big Sur burning :(

We don't have sunsets like this in Texas!

Happy 4th of July!!!

California Chronicles, part III

Busy, busy in CA!

In front of Air Force One at the Reagan Library.

Once upon a time there was a very eccentric man named William Randolph Hurst, who had so much money he didn't know what to do... so he built a castle.

Awesome pool!

Elephant seals, cool but smelly.

No that is not a lawn statue, it's real! Deer in Pebble Beach, CA.

California Chronicles, part II

Here are some more pictures from our trip!

Riding the sky lift at the San Diego County Fair. Those seats are not as stable or safe as one would like them to be!

On top of Mount Cowell, all covered with cheese! I lost my poor meatball when somebody sneezed. (Actually, its just me and Robin on top of Mount Cowell watching a sunset AND a moonrise.)

Aghhh! A giant sea kelp body snatcher! Robin and Adeeb are brave.

Robin, Adeeb and I at the San Diego Zoo! The animals really enjoyed our visit.

Beach bums

California Chronicles

We have been having a great time in California this summer! It's hard to believe that we only have one week left. Robin just finished making a list and a schedule of all the things we want to do before we leave. Looks like this week will be action packed! In the meantime, here are some photos from the last three weeks!

We got an early start to the trip! It was dark outside for a couple more hours.

Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, Robin Harris and the O.K. Corral

Enjoying a date shake; I was too chicken to try the cactus flavor.

The locals roasted a pig for our arrival in San Diego!

Coming up with a blog name is hard...

Coming up with a clever blog name is hard. I think in the end you have to resort to the obvious like "The Harris Family." If I told you something clever and told you to visit my blog, you would undoubtedly later sit at your computer and say, "What was the address she told me? It was so great! But now I can't remember..." So I'm sorry to disappoint but I'm going to go with the obvious here. Maybe at a later date when I have a moment of inspiration I'll change the name to something you can never forget! But for now, enjoy the daily musings of our lives!
